Ultrasonic humidifiers turn water into mist by means of vibratory plates. This mist, or cold steam, is ideal for creating a microclimate, but also for humidifying fruit and vegetables in cold rooms. The humidity in cold stores decreases when the cooling motors switch on and off, especially when the cold store door is opened and the temperature rises as a result. Low relative humidity ensures that your fruit and vegetable products dry out, which leads to weight and quality loss. The air in the cold store is therefore best humidified during and shortly after cooling by means of air humidification.

The first installations were installed to prevent Conference pears from drying out and limp necks, but now every cold store is equipped with such a system. They were extremely satisfied with the installer and the result of the humidification installation, but they wanted to take maintenance and simple repairs into their own hands for cost reasons.
